Aven Financial Closes $304M Oversubscribed HELOC Securities Deal
Aven Financial completed its debut asset-backed securities offering at $304.2 million. Senior notes earned top AAA ratings from S&P Global and Morningstar DBRS.
Aven Financial has closed its first asset-backed securities offering, a $304.2 million HELOC-backed transaction that drew enough investor demand to become oversubscribed, the Campbell, California-based company announced Oct. 30, 2026.
The offering, designated AVNHT, secured AAA ratings on its senior notes from both S&P Global Ratings and Morningstar DBRS, the two major credit rating agencies that evaluated the deal. Achieving the highest possible ratings on a debut securitization signals strong institutional confidence in the underlying home equity line of credit collateral.

An oversubscribed transaction indicates that investor orders exceeded the total securities available, a dynamic that typically reflects favorable pricing conditions for the issuer and broad market appetite for consumer credit-backed instruments at a time when home equity lending has grown alongside elevated property values.
The successful close marks a significant milestone for Aven Financial, which has positioned itself as a technology-driven home equity lender. Accessing the asset-backed securities market allows the company to diversify its funding sources beyond traditional warehouse lending lines, a move that can lower borrowing costs and support future origination growth.
