Bybit Opens Registration for WSOT 2026 With $10M Prize Pool
Bybit's World Series of Trading returns with new Global Assets and AI arenas, offering up to 10 million USDT across a five-week competition ending December 2.
Bybit has opened registration for its 2026 World Series of Trading, the cryptocurrency exchange's flagship competition that this year carries a prize pool of up to 10 million USDT — one of the largest purses in retail trading contest history. The five-week event is scheduled to run through December 2, 2026, and is open to users of the Dubai-headquartered platform, which counts more than 80 million registered users globally.
This year's competition expands beyond cryptocurrency trading to include two newly introduced arenas: Global Assets, which broadens the competitive scope to traditional financial instruments, and an AI-focused category that reflects growing retail interest in algorithm-assisted trading strategies. The addition of these tracks signals Bybit's effort to position the event as a cross-asset competition rather than a purely crypto-native contest.

Organizers have also introduced Early Bird squad incentives designed to reward teams that register ahead of standard deadlines. Squad-based formats have become a fixture of large trading competitions, as they encourage coordinated participation and tend to drive higher overall platform engagement during the contest window.
The WSOT has historically drawn tens of thousands of participants across individual and team categories, with leaderboard rankings determined by portfolio return percentages rather than absolute profit, a structure intended to level the playing field between retail and high-capital traders. Bybit has not disclosed the precise breakdown of prize distribution across the multiple competitive arenas introduced for the 2026 edition.
